Contribute to the China Xinghuacun International Alcoholic Drinks Expo and Expand the International Presence of Lvliang Fen-flavor Liquors

On July 27, the Press Conference of "China Xinghuacun International Alcoholic Drinks Expo 2022 " was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The Expo is to be held with the theme of "Sublime Xinghua and Intoxicating Lvliang”, which will be organized by the China Alcoholic Drinks Association, sponsored by Shanxi Provincial Commerce Department, Shanxi Provincial Industry and Information Department, Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Department, Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Shanxi Province, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanxi Branch, Lvliang Municipal People's Government and Fenjiu Group, and hosted by Fenyang Municipal People's Government.

At the press conference, Song Shuyu, Chairman of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association (CADA), said that CADA stays committed to building consensus in the industry, promotes industrial progress, leads the development of the alcoholic drinks industry, passes on the culture of Chinese Baijiu, and continues to boost the rejuvenation of Fen-flavor liquor. Undoubtedly, the Expo will become a new practice for the industry with the tripartite cooperation of local governments, industry associations, and leading enterprises.

Zhang Guangyong, Deputy Secretary of Lvliang Municipal CPC Committee and Mayor, said that Lvliang will take the advantage of the Expo to build the largest core production area of Fen-flavor liquors in China following the overall concept of "liquor industry as the base, tourism as the outline, integration of liquor industry and tourism, and diversified development." At the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the city strives to reach 600,000 tons of liquor production capacity, 500,000 kiloliters of output, and 50 billion yuan of output value. To achieve the integration of liquor and other industries, it is necessary to promote the industry integration and the synergy of liquor, culture, and tourism industry in all aspects. The city will pay great efforts to build a world-renowned demonstration area that integrates liquor, culture, and tourism, and hopes to reproduce the ancient poetic picture of liquor-making town. Mr. Zhang noted, to deepen the integration among liquor and other industries, it is necessary to strengthen the cooperation and communication with all parties that make the Expo a major event of exchanging ideas and a cultural carnival, as well as to achieve win-win cooperation. He hopes that the Expo could help to further expand the international presence of Fen-flavor Liquors.

Yuan Qingmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of Fenjiu Group, hopes to take this Expo as an opportunity to build a new industrial ecology together with renowned global wine makers. He hopes that the industry could value each other’s individuality while keep their own uniqueness, and to jointly promote the high-quality development of the alcoholic drinks industry.

The Expo intends to fully demonstrate the advantages and unique charm of China's core region of Fen-flavor liquors through a series of activities such as Wine Exhibition, Fenjiu Night, Industry Dialogue, Chinese Baijiu Appraise, Online Wine Expo, and Wine-Tour.    

Lvliang Foreign Affairs Office will function as a platform to actively promote international communication and cooperation, serve the overall diplomacy and promote local economic and social development. On the other hand, it will make full use of the advantages of foreign resources to facilitate the city's foreign investment and economic and trade activities, improve the Expo’s international competence, further expand the international presence of Lvliang Fen-flavor liquors, and help the city's all-round and high-quality development strategy.
