Shanxi works to improve producer services industry

North China's Shanxi province recently issued the "Action Plan for Enhancing the Quality and Efficiency of the Service Industry in 2024", which proposes to continuously promote the upper-end extension of the producer services industry, focusing on fields such as logistics, technology, information, commerce, and aviation.

The province will build four cities, including Taiyuan, Datong, Changzhi, and Linfen, as national-level logistics hubs, and establish provincial-level demonstration logistics parks and key logistics bases, so as to build an efficient logistics service network across the province.

At the same time, Shanxi will strive to construct high-level innovation platforms by successfully reorganizing one or two national key laboratories and establishing two or three basic disciplinary research centers and cultivation bases at provincial level.

Furthermore, the 5G coverage network will be expanded to key fields such as coal mining, manufacturing, healthcare, culture, and tourism. The province's software and information services will be improved, and high-end software parks will be established in order to foster a group of technologically advanced software enterprises.

While giving full play to investment promotion platforms such as the China (Taiyuan) International Energy Industry Expo and the Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum, the province will introduce a group of international specialized exhibition brands, so as to promote the development of locally organized exhibitions.

In addition, the general aviation service system will be improved to develop derivative service models for general aviation, while general aviation consumption will be boosted by developing a business model for integrating the general aviation and tourism industries.
