'Shanxi Night' a hit in Guangzhou

The "Shanxi Night" event debuted at the Canton Tower in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on the evening of April 15, the same day as the launch of the 135th China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair.

By leveraging this national-level exhibition platform, the "Shanxi Night" event provided a comprehensive display of Shanxi's new image. It did this through a series of activities such as speeches, cultural storytelling, promotional presentations, a cocktail reception, and exhibitions.

Spanning 5,000 square meters, the exhibition area of the "Shanxi Night" event showcased 236 exhibits from 42 enterprises across 11 cities.

The indoor section of the event showcased major industrial chains, distinctive professional towns, renowned Chinese time-honored brands, premium specialty products, and intangible cultural heritage items.

At the outdoor exhibition area, Fenjiu liquor, Yingxian ceramics, and Shanxi's branded new energy vehicles vividly demonstrated the province's commitment to cultural inheritance and to the development of its new energy sector.

Additionally, at the cocktail reception, 16 distinctive dishes, five snacks, 26 beverages, seven dried fruits, and four fresh fruits from Shanxi were displayed, captivating numerous attendees.

In addition, the event's cultural performances showcased Shanxi's representative songs, classic dances, as well as exquisite intangible cultural heritage skills, highlighting the unique charm of Shanxi's culture.

The "Shanxi Night" event has become an important window for the province's opening-up, as it enhances the city's image and deepens cooperative exchanges.
